The path to a new PATH

Port Authority contractors demolished the World Trade Center PATH entrance on Sunday in order to continue the construction of the permanent commuter-subway station, scheduled to open in two years. The new entrance is still on Church St., just to the south of the old one. The entrance is expected to move again at the end of the year — this time to Vesey St.
