The Sandwich Shop (75 E. 4th St.) will serve some of OddFellows' unique ice cream sandwiches and a cool weather addition, The Odd Pocket. Odd Pockets, made up of ice cream and toppings served in a warm, toasted brioche bun, will be warmed on a panini press and come in sweet-savory flavors including Cornbread (cornbread ice cream, bluebery compote, cornflake crunch) and Brown Butter Sage (brown butter sage ice cream, chocolate pearls and salted caramel). For those who want to get creative with their ice cream sandwiches, the DIY: Odds & Ends bar will feature customizable cookie sandwiches with a selection of seasonal scoops, toppings and cookies. The Sandwich Shop will open on Friday, October 2. The weather may be cooling down, but frozen desserts, warmed up, are still very much seasonal.
