The New York Jets will get a Pro Bowler back on Thursday night with defensive tackle Quinnen Williams set to return after injuring his calf in a Week 14 loss to the Buffalo Bills and sitting out last week’s loss to the Lions

Williams was listed as questionable coming into today, but he did practice in full on Wednesday, which provided some optimism. Now the Jets know for sure that their stud interior lineman will be back.

Williams, who was just named to the Pro Bowl earlier this week, leads the team with 11 sacks and 12 tackles for a loss. He has also chipped in 47 total tackles, 23 quarterback hits, three passes defended, and a forced fumble, making him the most impactful defender New York has to offer.

His return will be huge in a game that figures to be played in wet and sloppy conditions and could become very run-heavy. The Jaguars rushed for 192 yards on the ground in a victory over the Cowboys last week, including 103 yards on 19 carries from Travis Etienne.

With Williams back in the fold, New York will look to stifle a surging Jacksonville team that has won three of their last four and also keep their own playoff chances alive.
